Summary: Thirteen years after leaving KAT-TUN, Jin finds his life hasn't really gone as planned. The last person he expected to show up and rub his nose in it is Kamenashi. The last thing Kamenashi expected was that he'd keep coming back.

This story was originally prompted by nightinbird when Jo was asking for prompts to write drabbles (DRABBLES *facepalm*) to qualify for an exchange. Her prompt was: Jin doesn't know where Kamenashi heard about his money problems, but here he is in his one-million-yen suit, offering.

We originally wanted to apologize to nightinbird and make it clear that she's not responsible for anything that happens in this story. But about fifty thousand words in we decided it was totally her fault, so there you go, blame her! This is on your head, Nanni!

We profoundly thank tiggymalvern for betaing what is essentially a novel in a fandom that is not even hers, and putting up with our questions and proddings. deshisoraba made us our gorgeous banner and icons and we are very grateful.

About our posting schedule
All parts of this story will be posted to haikusociety 'as they happen', meaning what happens on Friday will be posted on Friday, and if the next part happens on the following Wednesday, it will be posted on the following Wednesday. (We're only cheating in that we're not waiting until April 2023 with posting. *g*) We think this will work well with the kind of story this is, but we will also post the complete weeks to our website and to AO3, and that's when we'll update on comms.
