Attention! Deep Water Posting Schedule

solo____ and jo_lasalle are going on holiday (both of them! together! OMG!) to Japan on 6 September, the posting for chapters 27-29 is going to be a little less on-the-dot as usual.
We generally have internet at the hotels, but we don't want to stress ourselves having to make a particular deadline if a day is particularly busy or the internet breaks down or whatnot. (Also we suck at math. The timeshift would be the death of us.)
So we want to let you know up front that we're aiming to post the chapters sometime between Wednesday and Friday of the relevant week. We will get stuff posted, but this will give us a little more flexibility.
Regular posting should continue from chapter 30 onwards.

Additionally, little Janine is looking for her mommy and can be picked up at the customer service desk, and we'd like to remind you of the watermelon sale in the wholefoods department.

You were in Japan but didn't get to Tokyo? That's a little bit sad. Where were you, Kyuushuu? Hokkaido?
Oh, we'll definitely get the chapters out. We'll have plenty of time to fight over last-minute edits on the Shinkansen. ;-)

Date: 2011-09-02 03:35 am (UTC)Nope I was on Honshu, lived in Shiga-ken and was in Kyoto frequently, but I didn't have a lot of free time since I was there on a study abroad program as well as an internship. Plus any freetime I may have had to go I would've had to go to Tokyo by myself, and was pretty much positive I would get very, very lost. Osaka was difficult enough sometimes. :/ I definitely plan to go back in the future though so Tokyo will happen someday.
I can totally picture some kaishain staring at the two bickering foreign girls on the shinkansen, understanding only the words 'Kamenashi' and 'Akanishi.' That will be an interesting trip. ;]
