I can't get over the absolute cuteness of this chapter. It's adorable how Jin is now willing to give more and Kame is more reluctant to take where it was the exact opposite at the beginning. They're making such smooth and fast progress I'm almost waiting for the next hiccup. From the way Jin is written in this chapter he seems like the significantly more snuggly one. I love this fic. Seriously, abandoning all orgasmic yelps of delight this is that damn good. I've always loved your fics of course but with this one the multi chapter has allowed so much character devlopement and build up that I'm totally invested in their story! Truly, I think it's the best thing I've read in ages. And they're growing closer now! *slight pause to yelp gleefully* And now I shall wander around in a blissful haze all evening because I somheow feel I've settled snugly into bed between Jin and Kame *grins* I cannot thank you enough for that!

We're very happy you love it so much. :-) We used to be a bit worried about the slow pace and long build-up, but we also felt that for what we were doing we had to take time to construct it properly. So it's great to hear that it's working, and the characters are pulling you into bed with them. :-)

I love the mood in this chapter. It's light and relaxed, and Kame's weird shower actually made me laugh aloud, -which was beyond inappropriate really, and I did try my best to pass it off as a coughing fit. Judging from the looks that got me, I didn't quite pull it off.

And then Jin just had to go all, "Better escorts would do this... better," and I just wanted to whoop and go "Way to go, Jin dearest!" myself. I might have head-desked around that point, too. Possibly. But they are SO CUTE AND FLUFFY -specially your Jin! Seriously, I'm onto you!- I just wanted to, that. It just couldn't be helped.

Things feel so much more natural between them now, and I really, really like where this is going. And when Kame asks Jin to stay the night... I simply can't wrap my mind around the fact that that felt natural too! In an unexpected sort of way, maybe, but natural. Now I kind of wish we had the morning after too, with Kame cooking breakfast and being an overall good host -because I secretly find that terribly cute, even though I myself fail miserably. Because. Yeah, uh. I digress.

Jin's anxiousness over sleeping around other people, well, that certainly touched a nerve. I could definitely understand that. Can.

And that adorably silly moment they have at the ending that's just. That, again. I shall say no more.

It's a day early for me but this was just the perfect distraction from studying for exams tomorrow. I soo needed a break.

Jin thinking Kame's nipples are cute is great. Finally Jin isn't paralyzed by fear and can now freely observe (and admire) Kame's physical features and properly appreciate them.
And Kame liking to be assaulted by his shower, complete with 'bathroom battles' XD. Somehow I can easily picture that to be true.

'"…if you don't want to go back out and get cold again, you don't have to."' It really seems to me that Kame, whether he's completely aware of it or not, is searching for love in his life. He has Midori for companionship, and I do believe that he truly loves her to an extent, but as a friend, which of course only makes things more complicated. He doesn't have a lover, in the full definition of the word, and therefore there's a gaping hole in his life. He'd got sex from Jin but still wanted Jin around. He wants a relationship, not a whore.

'"Now you've said it." He tries a smile. "Can't kick me out now. Where it's cold. With cats."' And Jin's just the perfect person to fill that hole (seriously no pun intended) isn't he? XD.

Hope you both had an amazing time in Japan! I'm still hopelessly jealous that you got to see Dream Boys, and, you know, breathe the same air as Kame. Jerks. Have a safe trip home.

Yes, Jin is starting to notice more physical things about Kame now that he's no longer afraid. About time, too... but before, physical appreciation was the last thing on his mind.

Kame likes... intense things. Showers can be made to accommodate. :p

You've got Kame's and Midori's relationship summed up pretty well. He really does like her, love her even. It's very sad. And yeah... Jin. That. Kame doesn't even realize yet just how stuck he is.

This chapter was so cute and fluffy!!♥ The direction of the fic is definitely getting lighter.

I really like chapter because since I already know Kame has it bad for Jin, I was wondering about Jin and how he is dealing with it. You know I think there definitely is a difference between Jin and Kame vs Jin and his other clients. I can't outrightly jump and conclude at the moment because it could just be my fangirl brain at work. Jin is definitely so much more carefree and relaxed with Kame. He's definitely more in control though for now I think Kame is still a job to Jin. Though he's more relaxed he is still not as forthcoming with his own past or his own stories. I guess he doesn't have to share it with Kame but am wondering what kind of hurdles these two are going to cross some more. lol xD I know I am overthinking but see the story began with so much angst and its quite fluffy now so I am just preparing myself for the reverse to take place. :P

Kame is being honest with Jin. And I like it cause I think he needs less complications. Lying or concealing to Midori is enough guilt I think. Kame pays an awful lot of attention on Jin. Perhaps because of his growing crush but I also think because he's so careful at not wanting to screw up his relationship with Jin. But Kame is doing quite well and even Jin agrees so he should relax more.. "He didn't do anything wrong when it counted. Jin gave him every chance, and he didn't." awww Jin is so nice.. Say it loud more often Jin.

I like how these two can make boring conversations sound so adorable and cute.. and "We sleep"..lol xD its so cute to read Kame now..

We're glad Jin comes across as relaxed with Kame, that fits well. And yes, he is very much in control. As for what Kame is to Jin... well, yes, Jin is very aware of their respective positions (paying client / whore) and just what he can let himself do, what assumptions he can make... basically what the entire basis of their relationship really is. He can't afford to forget that, and he knows he can't afford to forget it.

Kame has just been waiting for a chance to be honest, really. He was pretty honest with Tatsuya and Takuya too, we think. The club has always been the place for him where he could be open about himself, the one place where he didn't have to lie, until Jin came and screwed it all up for a while. (Evil whore!) But as for the attention, you are on to something there. It's not like he didn't pay attention to his other escorts, he's always prided himself on being a considerate client. But it wasn't quite the same.

Hmmmm... we didn't think that was particularly nice of Jin, really. Understandable, sure, and prudent, but nice?

If Kame's own settings were anywhere near sane, he'd just use them, but he tried that last time and found that Kame apparently likes to be assaulted by his bathroom installations. ROFL. This line cracked me up.

I have to say, I know this is already written and there will be more angst up ahead (it's inevitable really) but I think I could seriously read another 20 odd chapters of this semi-awkward (they are getting better) fluff no problems. It just leaves a big dopey grin on my face. They are so cute.

i cant believe its chapter 30 already! yay for double update for me since i was on a short vacay in vegas for the last update.
awkward stage continues...but much improvement can be seen between the two of them.
although kame still apologizes for certain things he says...jin is telling him its ok.
jin still second guesses himself on what is appropriate to do or not to do to kame.
but all in all...it was a cute date to me =)
"they arent touching. not even a little."....i hope that changes while they are sleeping! LOL

Oh, you were on vacation too? How was it?

Awkward stage will continue a bit longer. It's not all that easy to move from dubcon and golden showers to rainbows and unicorns. :-) But we're happy the improvement is noticeable anyway.

Give them time, and they'll get to cuddles, we promise!

We had a wonderful time in Japan, and saw Kame in Dream Boys twice. It was very inspiring. :-)
