With every new chapter I read, I think, "This is it." I think, "It doesn't get better than this. Can't." And yet, I keep getting proved wrong. I resent that. （￣へ￣）

Kame getting all worried and jealous over "the laundry guy" cracked me up. Also made me re-read that chapter, even though it turned out I pretty much remembered. And I wonder whether that should worry me when I fail to remember my age and, other stuff. Important stuff.

And there's Kame pondering complicated matters - to touch or not to touch! - and how "That only works for him when he's crazy." And I apologize here for, uh, quoting your words back at you; I just think that line is genius. Again. Sometimes, when reading your writing, I feel like every line is a punchline of sorts. I like that.

All that brand name dropping in the middle there made me think of Easton Ellis and how I'd gladly throw my panties at him - random and pointless, I know. It just sort of happened; I can't seem to control my brain, disobedient little thing that it is.

And then Jin goes and sniffs Kame. Actually sniffs him. That's so cute it's actually bordering on ridiculous. And he doesn't stop there, oh no, he actually... does it again. Seriously, Jin, what-- WHAT?!

And all that silly chatter they have going on, that's cute too. And very real and couplish, I think. I think maybe real couples do that sort of thing a lot. Yeah. Observational fact. They don't talk serious business unless they have an agenda - see! Jin gets serious here and he does have an agenda! Evil mastermind Jin with his cute messy hair and fluffy slippers...

And that must have taken some courage. Talking to Kame like that. About that. It's definitely not taking the easy route, no matter how you look at it - because Jin could have gone with that, with doing the thing that works and not worrying, doesn't have to care.

So Kame is still being daft. And Jin is being silly. And they're both being stupid together, and that makes this one a lovely chapter too! (^^)

I'll go be happy somewhere else, now...

And we have absolutely no problem with getting our lines quoted back at us! Particularly not when they're ones we're kind of fond of ourselves.

We're really pleased that you like what Jin is getting up to! He does feel he has to take things in hand a bit, since Kame so patently won't. As for courage... it's probably more about overcoming his own embarrassment. So no, it's not an easy route, but if there's one thing dealing with Kame currently no longer requires, it's actual courage. Jin feels that he's got his measure (in a good sense).

You're right, he doesn't have to care... but he kind of does, anyway. :-)

Ahhhhhhh, this was such a snuggly chapter. All their favorite things and things they love and... my brain is MUSH.

"Only with Jin clothed and relaxed and talking to people, not even aware…" This is so... interesting because it catches Kame off guard that he can find Jin attractive when Jin isn't even trying.

"Kame has a rather impressive repertoire of 'look how I'm not going to jump you' poses" Somehow this makes me think it's not even Kame being careful around Jin anymore. Somehow I feel like this is how cautious, professional Kamenashi deals with the escorts at Johnny's because he still views it as a transaction and probably has all sorts of rules of engagement about not being showy or touchy or demanding. It's only that with Jin those rules got thrown out at the very beginning and now he's trying to find his footing.

"They're always looking at each other. Kame's hands stay on him when they're not even trying to arouse. That's one of Jin's favourite things." ASFDSLAKSJDALKGHALSJDAL ... Jin ahhhhh, Jin wanting and seeking physical contact and Kame being all shy and happy and THE TOE THE TOE AND LEG HAIR... ♥ ♥ ♥

It's quite amazing how much Jin trusts him now... to do things he wouldn't normally allow a client to do. To get close and comfortable where Jin would normally put up barriers. It's almost as if because they hit rock bottom together they have nothing more to fear.

"But it's getting easier, a gentler drop and again there's just Kame, smiling and pleased, and holding him steady in his shivering skin." This was beautiful. T____T

There's still Kame's stiffness but things are so lovely and cozy that I'm starting to get nervous about what could possibly go wrong... *bites nails*

Nice observation, about how the attraction catches Kame off guard. Previously he really just used to think of Jin in a sexual context, so it made sense to look for the attraction, but now he's just watching him be normal and suddenly... whoops. ;-)

Ha ha, you liked the toe and the leg hair. Toe/Leg-hair OTP. *bounce*

This is pretty true for Jin at least. Kame... doesn't quite trust himself enough yet. The crazy just isn't that long ago.

That´s the most romantic thing I never read... :)
And I Think Jin is awesome again and again...

If I were Kame I'd melt with this things.

I wonder when Yuya will get over his experience with Kame. Although the "Kamenashi mind control" part made me laugh! And a tiny part of me hoped that Kame would become a little more jealous when Jin and Yamatani were talking...

Yep, phone numbers are a big step forward. Though Jin is probably too much of a professional to just call Kame out of the blue, for nothing in particular.

Midori: "Kazuya, you seem to be getting an awful lot of emails and calls during dinner these days."
Kame: "That's all right, darling, it's just the gay escort I'm seeing. I'll contact him again when I'm back at the apartment."

Yuuya has no intention of getting over his -- or rather, Jin's -- experience with Kame. Once somebody is in Yuuya's dog house, he kind of stays there, particularly when he fucked around (no pun intended) with Yuuya's friends.

Well, Kame is trying to be realistic: it's Jin's job, and if it wasn't for the job, Jin wouldn't be with him, either, so it makes no sense to be jealous of the other clients. At least that's how it's currently working. :)

Another excellent chapter. Poor Kame having to deal with Yamatani & overprotective Yuuya when he's still so nervous about handling things. I also love Jin's attempts to get Kame to loosen up.

I know Kame probably had it coming and up 'til now I really quite liked Yuuya looking out for Jin, but in this chapter, I just wanted him to go away, because Jin & Kame are finally working now and he could've ruined the mood (thankfully he didn't).

This was quite a fluffy chapter. I am seriously quite proud of Kame, he handled yamatani and yuya the best way he could. I say best way because he was still quite self conscious and rightfully so but I think he has loosen alot...
And the teasing and joking, they are bonding well...

And so Jin finally addressed the issue of Kame receiving very little service for what he's paying. Atleast they got it out in the open. But the chapter can be summed up with this I suppose, “They're starting to know what to expect. It's cozy.”

I remember in a previous chapter Junno taught Jin how to use different ringtones. At that time, I had the impression that Jin wasn't really tech savvy. And now I am curious to know what Ringtone Jin would set for Kame and honestly how would their phone conversation go.

When I wiki-ed Drambuie it was interesting to see that its derived from the phrase, "the drink that satisfies" and I like how Jin calls it his thing. Quite apt I think... But Jin is getting spoilt by Kame I feel. Kame seems to only feed and let Jin drink the good stuff.

To me I think its alittle weird how Kame wants the both of them to enjoy sex and the two exchanging phone numbers. Was it like that with Ueda or Kimura I wonder.. Hmm..how is this going to play out? Shall wait and see you next week ...

You're totally right to be proud of Kame, he was doing quite well! For him. *g* Trying very hard too. Yuuya was an extra challenge, when he'd already thought he was fine. :-)

Hee, thank you for the chapter summary. We're not entirely surprised it's 'cozy', but that was a good description. (And Jin feels much better now they had the value-for-money question out in the open.)

No, it's not something our Jin cares very much about and prior to the club he never really had enough money for a cool phone. Junno was nice enough to help him out!

Drambuie is a lovely (but expensive!) whisky-and-honey drink; a bit less well-known than whisky, so Jin never had it before Kame served it to him. It's DELISH. *ahem* And we kind of thought Jin might have a sweet enough tooth for this sort of thing. :-)

And... no, it wasn't quite like that with Ueda and Kimura. *g* Kame was friendly with them, there's actually a reason people think he's a great client -- he's generally considerate and -- when he's not crazy -- sees the escorts he likes as people. But neither Ueda nor Kimura have his phone number...

"No!" Kame is blushing, and his horrified look makes Jin feel guilty. "I didn't mean that."'-- Haha Kame's still so wound up and Jin's REALLY okay finally but Kame has yet to totally see that. It's good of him that he's being careful, but I really look forward to when they can both put the past completely behind them and move forward.

And Kame showing his "vanilla" side was really sweet as well. The sweet, normal stuff is what the real Kame likes, now that Jin is now actually okay with doing other things. Let it go Jin, I get nervous when you start suggesting things now... *coughs*

'"Jin," he says in the end. "I think your toe likes my leg hair."' --Ahahhh Who comes up with lines like this?? It's just brilliant! XDD.

'There's enough space in the bed, and it hardly bounces when Kame drops himself on his side, returning from switching off the water fountain.

"Sorry," he says. "It makes me… well. I might be waking you up a lot."'
--Probably woke someone up when I lost it laughing right there. Kame is so adorable.

And Jin gave Kame his number. *dances* That is a big deal, I can tell. It may seem like a small detail but I can see it playing a big part in some later chapter. And it shows they are moving forward, slow as it may be. It's becoming less and less like 'booking' Jin and closer and closer to setting up a date. And Jin now has what, three contacts? ;] IT IS BIG DEAL.

I love these chapters. I had more than enough of my needed quota of angst there for a while. :D

The fact that Kame is still kind of wound up is probably what reassures Jin enough to go out on a limb sometimes. But yeah, they'll have to find a way to relax properly eventually, Kame needs a break. :-)

LOL re Jin making you nervous. :-) He makes Kame a bit nervous too, no doubt. Yeah, Kame never really did the dominance stuff he sprung on Jin with any of his other escorts, so this is things getting back to normal. He quite likes 'sweet'. *g*

The phone number. That is a big deal, yes. Kame knows it too.

Jin has four contacts, but you could say one of them doesn't count because it's Ootomo. Hm, and come to think of it, he may have five by now because he's probably got Yuuya in there even though we didn't mention that. But that's pretty much it, yes.

We're very glad you love the fluffier chapters! (And hey, if you start missing the angst, you can always re-read some of the earlier ones. HA HA HA. *g*)

This really is an amazing chapter ^___^

It's moving how they are attracted to each other, and at the same time how their relationship is so difficult. But "that's normal for them, they live with not being smooth".

I don't know how many sentences you wrote made me laugh, and how many time I have been on the edge of my chair hoping that nothing would go wrong. They still are so fragile! Kame especially, but also Jin has his burdens.

I loved how Jin has been able to read Kame's mind and anticipate every need he could have, and I loved how Jin had the courage to talk to Kame honestly about their sex "routine".. it was a funny/thrilling/tense/romantic/erotic moment, in my view.

And I really, really loved Kame's reaction, at first stiff and anxious but after "Jin's given him the key to something" he becomes very sure of himself. Ah, lovely ^^ And when "Kame whispers, "This is my favourite thing," right there against his mouth" this is absolutely love.

Of course they are in love. Now I'll watch how they will be able to close the distance, have trust in each other and, I hope, become a real couple.

:-) Thank you very much. It's nice to hear that the lightness came through, while there's still enough tension that things aren't so easy or predictable. Because, as you say, they both have their issues and problems.

We're glad you liked their talk and Jin confronting Kame about their 'routine'. We too think Jin was a little brave there, but now he feels much better and reassured. (And we really like your observations about Kame's reaction and how he goes from stiff to sure of himself.)
