Date: 2011-12-22 03:45 pm (UTC)Some parts of their accidental meeting were terribly painful to read. Things like this: "It's lame, but he doesn't want Jin's friend to tell Jin Kame was rude to him." Or like the part when Kame takes one look at Jin and practically melts, only to notice Tomo is looking at Jin too, just, differently :/ Or when he tells Jin not to lie to Tomo. That moment is precious. Kame is so adorable during all this and he just kept unknowingly making things worse and... idk. I wanted to hug him. T___T
On the other hand, Akame holding hands in the car was on the happy side of cute, and the idea of Kame drooling over movies was just hilarious, and then Jin had to think about hats and beards >__> And there's this: "The light is ugly and the floor is naked concrete, and Jin is beautiful." That's such a lovely image (^^)
And I swear, I swear, that little scene in the basement is the sexiest I've ever found Kame in this fic -- and he's had his fair share of sexy moments, but here, I don't even know, it's really subtle, but oh my god?! O.o
Jin's minor freak out made me a bit sad, even though he handled that just fine -- and when he told Kame and Kame got all protective... what have you done to Kame?! It's like he can't even think straight anymore! Poor thing!
He's so cute asdfghj...And that thing with Kame's code at the end... that's just genius. And then there was talk about August and... that's nice. After lasts chapter's cliffhanger it's nice to have a hopeful upbeat ending like this (*^^*) but even so, I'm still worried about Wednesday... I wonder how that's going to go for Jin...

I'm so glad that Jin had fun at the party. '...Kame is still drinking in the sight when Tanaka nudges him and claims he is getting jealous.' Don't blame him for staring one bit. A happy Jin is a wonderful joy to behold.
Their little cellar make-out session was cute. They act like completely like new boyfriends at this stage in their relationship. Shy, sweet, and well... horny...
The dance part was interesting. Poor Jin can't even be admired without feeling violated.
'"Did anyone say something to you? Was anyone unpleasant to you? Who was it?"' HEE! That would have been hilarious if Kame had that reaction at the party. I get the feeling someone would've ended up with a stoved-in face and Koki a much more lively evening.
And then Kame talking about August plans and hand holding and then more hand holding and THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE.
And Kame's birthday is in like two days right? Kame hasn't mentioned anything about it... Is it not his birthday in this universe or does he just not feel like telling Jin about it?

Jin's learned to read all physical/sexual interest from strangers as a sort of violation. :( As long as he's in that job, it's not very likely to change. But we're happy that came through the way we had hoped!

The whole party part is really cool. Jin dancing before the freak-out, Kame loving Jin's opinions, mutual hard-ons in the cellar, Jin enjoying himself, Kame not freaking out, seeing the two women be open with each other, the tough singer turning into a babbling fangirl mess, and this anticipation of later. Also, Jin's hot sweater.
Maybe one day he'll grow a beard and wear a hat all the time. - LOLOL VERY SNEAKY.

Date: 2011-12-28 04:20 pm (UTC)OOOOoooo..Pi knows and this is going to be awkward for awhile..Actually I really liked how Kame told Jin to basically not fall out with Pi over him. They could easily lie to Pi but I guess its best to just leave him alone. And at Koki's party when Kame tells Koki that Midori says Hi, I thought it was kind of an awkward scene too. Kame is in a way replacing Midori with Jin. Well he can only do that with Koki's parties at the moment but still... It was also quite amusing to read Misa trying to flirt with Jin. But more importantly Kame is now making plans with Jin in the distant future. I think 6months is quite a long time. Anything could happen within that time span. And Naoki has not been mentioned in awhile..

And that's a good observation about the party, with Jin replacing Midori, at least for this party and even though only a few people know that. But he still sticks to safe places and cover stories.
Six months is a long time, yes! Kame's probably not even aware how long he's thinking ahead...

Very embarrassing, really. Tomo was so "kibishi".
I can understand him.. he is worried for his friend, he fears that Jin is used, is forced to do thing he doesn't want. And I would agree with Tomo, if only the client wasn't Kazu.
In this case, we are talking about other feelings, and I'm quite sure Jin isn't forced into anything :D
I loved the attraction between our guys.. so sweet, and hot at the same time. It's so nice to see them enjoy themselves a little!
To be honest, I'm surprised about Kame's decision of taking Jin with him. The expensive restaurant was brave enough, but no, Kame now has to push the things a little more!
He's really adventuring outside his comfort zone. And Jin.. is following. Of course he cannot take any initiative, because Kame IS the customer, because Kame has the most to lose in this relationship.
Well, it depends from which point you are looking, of course. I mean that living a fake life is not so good for the health.
And looking the things from another point of view, also Jin took a risk, inviting Kame to the only place he considered safe.
Okay, now I'm talking about Koki that I absolutely love in this story! He's smart, cool, sensitive. And hot, of course :D
He sensed something between the two, and in his way he's helping. Be there for Kame. Be kind and respectful to Jin. No saying anything more than necessary.
Kame made me laugh when he asked Jin to come with him to take the whisky.. it sounded so fishy to me! But sometimes Kame cannot restrain himself :DD
And the two parts in the car were just too cute. My favourite sentence of the first drive: “Okay. Kame can totally drive like this; it's a smooth ride on the expressway and he won't need that hand again for at least another twenty minutes.” And my favourite of the second drive: “Kame slides him a flushed look, and then he's staring straight ahead, where the street lights are starting to flick past them rather faster.” Muah ah ah!

Date: 2012-02-15 08:22 pm (UTC)Cringing... yes, probably the right word, because Kame was totally cringing and Jin was having his cringy little moments, too. Even though Tomo only wants the best for him.
It's an interesting question, what was more risky for Kame, the restaurant or Koki's party. He knows that people at Koki's party will be pretty laid back, and he knows he can trust Koki. But yes, it's a somewhat less controllable environment. He is definitely getting braver in general, or less careful as he gets more infatuated with Jin. Waiting in the street... really, that was dumb.
Jin follows along happily, but you're right, Kame is the one who gets to decide where things go. Jin's the one who takes the emotional risks, perhaps. Like letting a client into his home. Or into the bar where he sings.
Koki is Kame's Tomo. If that makes sense. :) So of course he's cool! We're happy he comes across like that.
Jin likes being in a car with Kame. He's close, and fondlable, and it's their little bubble apart from the world. (Kame just wants to get home and into bed!)
