While they're on the bed, Jin thinks without much interest that Nakamaru is probably the most politically important guy he's ever done it with.

Date: 2012-01-05 04:03 pm (UTC)"You can't be the only guy who's not so happy just being with escorts."
Sounds like you send Nakamaru into the club to search for a possible BF in the customers.
Wouldn't be such a strange concept, there must be some people who don't have a wife, but are completely hopeless in finding somebody. o.o Would be funny to see anything like this :D
As a question, was Jin the first escort who got a key to Kame's apartment?
Astonishing that those two are constantly thinking about each other. Through the day.
Mean that you cut the chapter right before they meet.
I hope you don't cut the whole evening in the next chapter, I would like to read what happens there. :D

Date: 2012-01-06 10:51 am (UTC)Hmmm... wait and see? ;) Maybe he'll make advances to Kame soon. #evilteases
As a question, was Jin the first escort who got a key to Kame's apartment?
Yes. But: we figured, it's not like this is totally unheard of in terms of Johnny's clients/escorts. Kame hasn't done it before, but it may have happened a couple of times before that somebody gave an escort he saw regularly a key, just so they wouldn't have to hang around and wait if something upset the schedule. It would depend on the client's living situation and how likely schedule upheavals are.
They are, they are! (Thinking about each other. :)
Sorry about the cut, but it was necessary. No, we promise we won't cut the evening, you will get to see what happens next.

Date: 2012-01-09 10:53 pm (UTC)(how about a sidestory if you have some time?)
I can just imagine one situation you have to cut here.
The part with Kame and Jin must be very long. Awesome.
Sounds like I will love this weeks' chapter.
read the end of it and I bet that I will have the next cliffhanger in front of me. It's planned far too well than to be not the case~(no subject)
Date: 2012-01-11 06:29 pm (UTC)read the end of it and I bet that I will have the next cliffhanger in front of me. It's planned far too well than to be not the case~Whaaaaat? You think we're that mean? *pout*
That probably means you won't be happy when Kame gets run over by a car tomorrow and then Jin can't visit him in hospital...
Psst, we are considering side stories when we're done, if some of the regulars around here are interested. *g*

Date: 2012-01-12 12:36 pm (UTC)See it as a characteristic of good fiction.
Like this you get the readers to come back reading, commenting and just wanting to have more~
If I got the whole story in one go, I probably would read the whole day without being able to stop.
Just wanting to know how it goes on and on and on~ too curious. :D
Since I just read that Jin kept being worried about this in this week's chapter it is no surprise that you teased me here with it! Thankfully it was just a traffic jam once and a nice driver who got him safely back home. Without any accidents........
I will keep this in mind :D
how about maru x ryo? ok, stop, I already have very funny pictures in my head XDFurthermore, you just added a chapter to the story....? why do we have now 55 chapters and not 54 and
how can that not be mean? One more week of waiting added till I know how the whole chaos will end :D

Date: 2012-01-12 06:51 pm (UTC)See, we're just being considerate to people! This way you can go out and buy food and have jobs and stuff. XD
how can that not be mean? One more week of waiting added till I know how the whole chaos will end :D
But the one got so loooong... *pout* We're innocent!

Date: 2012-01-12 10:40 pm (UTC)Don't try to fool me. You just want to read awesome comments each week and enjoy the fruits of your work! :P
I am perfectly able to plan my day. Even though I have to admit that I don't get anything done on Thursdays before you post. Thankfully I have them off XD
But the one got so loooong... *pout* We're innocent!
innocent? yeah... of course... especially with Kame in the beginning of the story... what kind of innocence are we talking about?
Anyway, did you just re-organize the whole story or write another part to it?

Date: 2012-01-15 05:58 pm (UTC)Ha ha, no, we are only a step or three ahead with the editing of this monster, is the real reason. (We sometimes have a bunch of chapters in hand, true, but then life interferes and it gets really tight -- no fun.)
Not to say that comments aren't extremely welcome and make us feel loved. And we need looooots of looooove. We're as needy as Tegoshi's hamster. And the idea of working on something for over two years (three, if you count editing) and then throwing it all out there in one go did not appeal to us, that much is true, too.
Anyway, did you just re-organize the whole story or write another part to it?
Well, we were editing, and some new stuff 'happened', and then the chapter break didn't work any more, so we had to shift it, and blah-blah-blah then there were two.

Date: 2012-01-16 05:20 pm (UTC)I will make sure that you will get enough love ♥ at least from me, cannot promise for other people :P but they seem to do a good job, too~
I remember that you wrote that you want to reduce the word count... apparently doesn't work for this story~ one more week till I have to change my habits and start to dislike Thursdays again, no more complains from my side ^.^

LOL we should suggest that to this Kame, he would find the suggestion... surprising. *G*

Date: 2012-01-06 12:08 am (UTC)Jin & Maru giving each other career/relationship advice was strange but interesting. Certainly not the usual client/whore talk. Jin seems to attract the unusual ones
thinking of being free all day. No other clients, nothing he doesn't want to do. Jin is not even thinking of Kame as a client any more.

Date: 2012-01-06 10:52 am (UTC)No, srsly, we hope you'll see next week why this didn't belong with the next chapter. Even if we admit it's turned out to be a bit of a tease this week. <3
Certainly not the usual client/whore talk. Jin seems to attract the unusual ones
Yeah, we think he would. He's not smooth in the normal whore way, at all, but for clients who are not so good at being be-smoothed by smooth whores, Jin can be... a surprisingly pleasant change?
Jin is not even thinking of Kame as a client any more.
XDDDD
Thank you for this!

Date: 2012-01-06 05:12 am (UTC)"Jin! Guess what! I'm going to be an assassin!" Hee... Kame-chan's cute. I'm excited for him too! Kame would be so brilliant in a role like that, he really would.
I kind of had the feeling that Nakamaru's view point was something like that; he doesn't at all seem to be the kind of shallow guy who doesn't care about anything other than his own pleasure. Jin was probably the perfect person to talk to about that, complete with pass to the "club of awkward." XDD I hope Nakamaru finds someone someday. He's sweet.
He's missed Kame. It shouldn't be possible to miss a guy he's seen just on Friday this much, but then that went from happy cows and Yokoyama chatter to just awkward and unhappy, and Jin… well, he's missed Kame. That's all. I knew Kame wouldn't be able to hide the inner omgIcan'tdealwiththis from Jin. Ughh I really want to see what happens when they see each other again...
"Running eyeliner isn't an authentic part of samurai appearance," Well there goes my whole deluded perspective of Japanese history.
"Sabotaged by the lead's lack of height. What a sad story."--I get teased for that same reason all the time Kame-chan. You're not alone!
Have I mentioned that this fic has caused me to hate Fridays?

Date: 2012-01-06 10:52 am (UTC)Poor Nakamaru, oppressed by whores. We figured he had to have a Hard Life, just so it's all canonical. ;) But we giggled a little when writing whore!Jin and client!Maru giving each other relationship and career advice.
Jo teases Solo for lack of height. #Joisevil
Um. Sorry about your Fridays?

Date: 2012-01-06 07:17 am (UTC)Thursday is barely over and I cant wait for it to come again to see how it all turns out >w<
and yay! for Kame getting the role. He should get that kind of roles more often in RL too...
(no subject)
Date: 2012-01-06 10:53 am (UTC)We would LOVE to see Kame in a role like this ourselves, yes. A bit of wish fulfilment on our parts here, too...
Thank you for commenting! Hope you'll like next week and it won't be too short for you. ;-)

Date: 2012-01-06 11:28 pm (UTC)I knew I liked Hamaguchi for a reason! See, see? Humiliated!Kame <3
I'm kind of delighted at the way you keep sticking Maru and Jin together -- all that awkwardness! And Maru blushing after wiping come off Jin made me giggle like crazy :D And the image of Yuuya rolling around on the floor is now ingrained in my brain -- though, there, Yuuya wears kitten ears. #itsadarkplace #mybrain
I'm not sure why, but Jin's POV was just really funny in this chapter or, I should say, this part of the chapter -- because I was bawling my eyes out by the time I got to Jin missing Kame. Then again, I had the same reaction to Kame needing to catch up on Jin things. And to Jin thinking about long-term plans.
Idek, okay?>_>She asks him about singing at the bar, and after his initial surprise it's awesome to think that that's what some people know him for.
That line made me so happy right before it made me really sad ;___;
"Yeah, I…" Kasai's blushing, and like a flash Kame wonders… wonders who, wants to say it's really okay, even that, but he can't… "The sushi," Kasai says.
WHAT. What in hell is Kame imagining here? Did I read this right? Are you obsessed, Kame?
What's up with Jin in the last bit? He seems weirdly out of it... Lord Mikku hopes it's just me imagining things. D:
(no subject)
Date: 2012-01-07 06:07 pm (UTC)But Hamaguchi didn't humiliate Kame, he did that all by himself in order to avoid killing people in his mad jealous rage. She's just pleading with him not to do it again. :)
Maru and Jin are a match made in heaven. They are DESTINED. (Destined to be awkward together.)
Maybe you were having an emotional day? :) Though yeah, Jin and long-term plans, not such a cheery topic.
Kame projects, okay? He projects his own closetedness and prior bathroom experiences on other people and tries to be nice to them about it. Give him credit for trying? :p
Jin in the last bit... hm, he's thinking a bit too much about clients, maybe, and the future, and the weather has turned crappy too. He'll be glad when he's at Kame's.

Date: 2012-01-08 08:51 am (UTC)Poor Nakamaru.. :( The NakamaruxJin conversation was kind of alittle amusing and strange. Almost like they were friends. I still can't help wondering what is going to happen after august. I am still rooting for Akame to be one of the few relationships that would blossom through this host club. And Jin gets a regular gig related to his music.
See you this thursday!~~

Date: 2012-01-11 06:15 pm (UTC)HMMM, while we would never make promises and Kame could certainly get eaten by a roaming tiger on the way home... stay tuned. *g*
Nakamaru and Jin surprised each other a little there. They're an unusual pair at the club. We're glad you feel for the guy. :-) And we're rooting for Akame too, but...
not sayingHeee.See you tomorrow! Thank you for the comment!

Date: 2012-03-14 06:23 pm (UTC)It’s a bit sad there is not more of Jin’s personal thoughts in it. Because I kinda feel like Jin could be thinking of a certain… someone *coughs*Kame*coughs* every now and then. Okay but maybe I’m just imagining the little hints towards Akame in that conversation? *laughs* Still I wonder if that maybe Jin now has his hopes up that Kame might actually think similarly to Maru and decides to rather look for a serious relationship (with Jin, that is) instead of continuing to see escorts (or rather that one escort in particular).
Okay, but even if there are no Akame-hints here, I liked that conversation pretty much and it feels like it made Jin think about this and that a bit ;)
I actually love how Kame treats Abe-san and isn’t all diva there. But well, I would have never imagined him to be actually. Not that Kame (and not the real one either, just for the record). It’s cute that he thinks of Jin, even though I was kind of shocked at first when reading Kame wasn’t too sorry he had to cancel on Jin *pouts*. But well… Mr. Turtle probably REALLY needed to figure things out
againand needed some more time without Jin to realize how much he misses him. Which is incredibly sweet somehow, hehe. Also cute (OMG there’s so much cute-ness going on here right now… I should be happy about it as long as it lasts *coughs*): Jin missing Kame and keeping his day client-free for him!
Oh, I think totally forgot to mention that before: What else I love about your writing is how you sometimes insert some hints (grah, sorry I can’t think of another word right now D: ) to things said or done in previous chapters. For example the stuff with Kame and the youth of Japan in this one. It’s just really nice to find those kind of little hints here and there.
But it was nice reading about Kame in his job environment again :) Especially since there is so much of Jin invading Kame’s work hours now *laughs*. Okay, but honestly… I really like it that you’re not only jumping between the club, Kame’s apartment and sometimes Jin’s apartment or the bar. Makes the story more dynamic and it’s nice to see the individual sides of their lives and not only the moments when they are together. Although meanwhile it seems that thoughts of the other one pretty much determine their both lives by now. Which just makes it even sweeter ;)
In addition to that, I think I’ve learned an important life lesson now! Yay! Bad guys come in coats, good guys don’t! Unless this counts only for samurai, lol.

Date: 2012-03-15 04:56 pm (UTC)And you know, you're one to complain about Jin not thinking stuff! Here we are keeping it subtle and between the lines, and not all monologuey and X+thingie, and now we get told off. ;_; #poorauthors #cantdoanythingright
Kame is a confused little turtle, and he needed to take a little step back at this point. Only to sort himself out. :)
Secret trufax: we love doing that stuff with bringing in details from all over the place all over other places. We rub our hands in fiendish delight when we get a chance to do that. MWAAAHAHAHAHA.
We're glad that the stuff with Kame's job works well! We like showing their individual lives but initially we always worried that it might get boring, because they aren't together. Admittedly it's easier now because they keep thinking of each other. *g*
Dark, evil, flowing cloaks. Like Nazgul.

Date: 2012-03-22 12:06 pm (UTC)I'm sorryyyyyyyyyyyy. T___T I really am. It's just. These two are driving me crazy sometimes!!!! T____T I want to slap Kame because he's like ALWAYS thinking about Jin and what ifs but in the end he doesn't really change anything or comes to concrete conclusions about what to do. And then I want to slap Jin and shake him and find out what the hell he is thinking and feeling now and argh!!! Kame IS pretty X+thingie... and Jin is so... Y+thingie. Like in chapter Y you are like "yeeeeeeeees, Jin you're almost admitting you love Kame! Just a little more, come on!" And then you have chapter Y+whatever and it goes like "honestly, Jin now WHAT IS THIS?? Are you so unaware of your feelings or do you just want to be? Or aren't you even feeling more for Kame?" and in chapter Y+whatever+whatever it's the same as in chapter Y and I'm always sitting there like "OMG Jin, just face the obvious NOW! ADMIT IT ALREADY!"
But on the bright side (oh yes, there is one!). With the help of the one and only Mr. Akanishi himself and an advanced study of crazy stuff related to mathematics you can turn the whole thing into the nice equation: X * Y = super-awesome-Akame-whore-epic.
No, but honestly. I hope you're not taking it too seriously when I go all "the balance is not right here. What the hell do they want???". I just can't keep silent about stuff like that and I'm too impatient with them and I'm so feeling with them here. T__T" But hell, whatever I say that sounds like criticism, keep in mind that I love that story. It's awesome and epic and perfect! *hands out unicorn shaped cookies*
But Kame sorting himself out it is nice. :) Leads to good things here, hehe.
BWAHAHAHA! I'm sure you're having much fun bringing details from here to there. Believe me, I'm having almost as much fun discovering those details later. (It makes me even want to re-read this story until I found them all. *g*)
To be honest I prefer it when there are episodes in which they are not together (Hard to believe, right?). And should I tell you something? In this case you got the balance totally right! ;)
Nazgul? OMG I'll have nightmares tonight. T__T

Date: 2012-03-27 04:34 pm (UTC)He wants to be. Being unaware is a rewarding strategy when your feelings are scary and irrational. :)
I hope you're not taking it too seriously when I go all "the balance is not right here. What the hell do they want???"
Actually, we do take it seriously, but not in a bad way. We like to take feedback like that seriously because it makes us look at our stuff and consider, well, maybe there is something we could do better. That's always good. Sometimes we decide that for a particular case, hey, what we did was exactly what we wanted to do and that's that. Sometimes we decided that yeah, we could have done that differently and better. And we like being made to think about that. So... taking it seriously doesn't mean we have sleepless nights about it during which we cry hot tears into our pillows, never fear! But we do think about it, to figure out if there's something we should do, or learn from it.
ASH NAZG DURBATULUK, our precioussssss... :p
