WOW! I was scared, that something might will happen to Kame in this chapter, but this is sooo lovely... fluffy..

But I´m sad at the same time. Only ten chapters left... Whoa.. it went so fast.

It went surprisingly fast, yeah. And yeah, just enough chapters for Kame to get eaten by wild animals, and Jin will move to Hokkaido with a broken heart... and die in the snow... *sob*

And the way they are with each other when they forget, like when Kame took care of Jin after that really bad date and tonight when Jin took care of Kame. And they are just so perfect for each other! Like they forget about all the crap and the simple emotion comes out. And surely a date was the very last thing Kame would want after a day like that and Jin should SEE it! OMG. You chose my favourite line for the link! That part is so awww-inducing. I don't even-- I kind of cooed at it when I first read it, okay? (*^^*)b

This is such a wonderful chapter. I kind of sat there for hours unable to tear my eyes away. I don't even know how many times I've reread it, it's just... really sweet. And things are moving, you know ;___; And did they use like... 6 towels? In this chapter? Oh well, I doubt Kame does his laundry... *g*

The first part with Jin being all nervous and edgy on the way to Kame's apartment, with Kame's keys, that was SO CUTE. I love that you've put that there, because yeah, Jin would be nervous, and OMG I LOVED reading about it, and it had all these really funny moments, "...the last thing they need is unexpected police intervention," and I was this weird giggly mess by the time Jin actually settled <333

“Maybe he should make himself a little calendar with Kame's schedule.”
YES, JIN. YOU GO BE A GOOD WIFE NOW. DO IT.

And then you had Jin sniffing Kame's shirt. Sniffing Kame's shirt! Just like he was sniffing Kame's hair all those chapters ago and just... cute. CUTE.

And I loved him being terrified of Kame's flat, of the cat, and telling Kame's mood from his calls and... oh, Jin. And then this: "Yeah, okay," Jin says, glancing at the TV guide beside him which tells him exactly what channel Kame is going to be on in fifteen minutes. "Good luck!" Just. Oh, Jin. When did you turn him into this fluffy little Kame-junkie? <333

And that moment, later, when Jin is undressing Kame, and thinking about it, and Kame is just kind of standing there all soft and contented exhaustion... that's really hot. Sweet. Special. Idk. And then they shower *____*

Ant this: “His make-up has started to run, watery black tracks and some blotches in the smooth concealer, and it would look a little creepy if Kame weren't such a giant ball of mush right now.” I wonder how Kame would feel about being called that *g* He probably wouldn't even care anymore, as long as it's Jin >.> #mushyKame #wantsJintocallhimKazuya #imelted

"Stay." He points at the edge of the bath. "Sit." WHAT IS THIS YOU DID HERE.

And in the morning. When there's that. Kiss moment. That. In kame's bed. And then morning sex. And the interruption. And "You are pushy," he says, hitting the thing and hitting it again when it doesn't work, "when you're horny in the morning." I don't know, I just want to keymash here. Look, I keymash: asdfghjk.

And that was... some amazing sex, too. O.o With Kame realising things. “Jin doesn't do this, Jin's quiet. Jin's always quiet.” God I loved that bit... And with Jin being his unbearably cute self, writing things on Kame's skin, what. What. *____*

“It's sexier if he doesn't turn into his mother.” #lolol Oh, Kame... :')

And that moment when Kame tried to pay Jin. I was so scared; you can't even imagine. I think I just about died. That could have been so awkward. But it worked. OMG. They made it past that, I'm so happy Because I guess Kame has finally realised Jin isn't just being a good whore? I mean, this is as good as a declaration of undying love in Jin-speak, okay?

And the ending. “...against the closed door and against the ticking clock, and every time Kame sighs and pulls back he changes his mind, and Jin laughs and doesn't mind at all.” That was beautiful, and beautifully phased, and just, insert keymashing here, I don't even have the words.

Also, what, you count towels? Let us tell you, Kame has a huuuuge stash of towels for when he pees on people and yeah, at the moment he doesn't even have a washing machine. (But a very discreet housekeeper who is good at dealing discreetly with laundry and cleaning services.)

Jin clearly has a nasal fixation. :-) Just as well Kame has an interesting nose. And smells nice, as has been testified by people who met him. All is good, the romance can continue.

Jin has been a fluffy little Kame-junkie for a looooong time now. But he likes to pretend he has his dignity.

We're glad you liked the, erm, state Kame was in and Jin taking measures. *g* But what is this we did there? Ha ha, not telling. But we did a thing. Hahahahaha

They are getting more direct with the stuff they want. No way that Kame wants him out of his apartment.
Kame even goes to the club to see him for half an hour, if that's not a sign~ Far to addicted to each other.

It's more nap-ish that way, less official.
Step 1: he gets a key
Step 2: taking naps on Kame's bed
Step 3: Coming over regularly
Step 4: Kame being happy to find Jin in his bed to curl up in the night
....... :D
Step 5: Jin coming over to play his guitar there, 'cause he likes it better at Kame's place and to have something to do while he waits.....

Jin doesn't stop massaging the shampoo into Kame's hair; it smells of pine, which goes nicely with the lavender. He doesn't get emotional or anything. "Okay," he says into Kame's neck. "I can do that. Kazuya."
Completely random situation, but, since I am already talking about steps here, the next step in their relationship and Jin not yet there, but so close before it.

Jin holds still. There's not even a question. Just a sigh, and more dead weight that smells of pine and lavender, and Kame's warm skin; Kame's arm wrapped possessively around him, and his damp hair cool on Jin's shoulder.
Jin even got around to admit that he likes it :D After the Yoko drama and having hardly any control over himself anymore, no surprise that Kame is all over Jin. or at least all over him as much as he can manage :D

Jin's smile looks a little relieved, and then Jin stretches up and kisses… his temple, or maybe his hair, kind of hard to tell, but the next kiss is on his cheek, and Jin's on some sort of trajectory here.
YAY for Jin~ Kame would be far to worried about everything than to start something on his own. Now Jin is starting to blur the borders~ even in the end when he tells Kame not to call in. :D

Jin is absorbed by his collarbones. Trying to tickle him again, perhaps. Kame's lack of responsiveness is a constant source of fascination.
I love how you put in known facts sneakily.

"Yeah, me too," Kame says, with the weirdest urge to just pull Jin to him and never let go, not for sex or breakfast or stupid lunch meetings. Instead he brushes hair out of Jin's face that didn't need brushing, and smiles.
There we go. I wait for my storm :D

More is closer. That works, that's… appreciated, and Kame likes it too, all slow and sort of aimless. And slow is good, is for… for enjoying, for savouring. For waiting, letting Jin take what he wants.

Oh yeah, the whore-client relationship won't work any longer. They do sound like a couple in love and not like a client getting what he wants.
It's written all over the chapter, they just have to realize it.
Even all the funny bed talk, they are so comfortable with each other.

Just re-reading it and I still feel like quoting the whole chapter which is hardly my thing to do in comments anyway!. I still stop at adorable, hot, fluffy, nice, perfect, etc.
Nearly every sentence shows how much they like each other or just how much their thoughts are about the other.

Jin has paused with his jacket half on. Pretty still, until the movements pick up cautiously.
I see Jin thinking, coming to a resolution and the next chapter can just be interesting.
thinking about your writing style it wouldn't surprise me if they don't meet in the next chapter. Probably more about them thinking about each other and worrying what to do and descriptions of their environment.

Yeah, this end is cliffhanger enough for me :D

A few other comments:

First of all, what's the meaning of the icon for Deep water? Everywhere else there's a 絆 and Deep water has a... moon? No idea, what's that and why?

Furthermore, what I really, really, really love in this story are the characterizations.
They are Kame and Jin and not just a male part and a girl part in a male body. I can take those two serious and there's hardly any situation I think that one would be a girl from their behavior. Like too much jealousy, tears and thinking to win one's heart through cooking and presents and what-do-I-know-what-else is supposed to be overly girly behavior. They are created so well, which just leaves me with an awful amount of praising and loving! Thanks again :D

Jin in Kame's apartment. Like, cutest scene ever when one of them is not even there. _{and Jin has a key and the code and knows how the light switches work omg!}

I was afraid Kame would never make it home, or get in an accident or something. I'm glad he was okay and that Jin got the opportunity to take such good care of him. So sweet.

Jin's opinion of Very Demanding Kitty is amusing. And Jin knows better than to bite ;]

This chapter was filled with so much sweetness and domesticness and overall niceness, I could quote the whole thing back to you as my favourite part. I'm also pretty sure this is the first time I've ever seen the word "caterpillar" used as a verb. *impressed* XD

This chapter was adorable (I'll forgive you for being teases last week)

Jin in Kame's apartment was so cute - everything from watching Kame's drama's, reading his scripts (and accidently his business deals), taking a shower, feeding the cat. All of it just so cute.

And Kame calling all the time to make sure Jin's still there okay was even cuter.

And then when he got home and was dead on his feet, Jin taking care of him was just jdsaklfhdsaalds. Although I thought Kame might say something he probably shouldn't about his feelings for Jin while he was in that state. Then again asking Jin to call him Kazuya is likely a big tell.

And the morning sex - hot. But that was there first sex off the books, right? They could probably justify it as Kame not getting what he paid for the night before at the moment (although Ootomo might not agree there either), but it's the start of a slippery slope to eternal love trouble. I hope they're careful.

Yes, it was their first sex off the books! Not that Ootomo has any reason to find out, given that Jin was supposed to stay the night anyway and Kame did pay for the night before. But, yeah. It was Jin's day off. *g*

Kame fretting over whether Jin was comfortable and Jin looking after Kame. In a way I understand why this is a stand alone chapter, it was so very fluffy and mushy. lol :P But from this chapter, I could see how Jin and Kame could continue whatever "relationship" they have currently after Jin quits his job. Ofcourse there is also Kame's wife and other factors to consider on whether it will turn out okay but before, I could not see why Jin would be with Kame if it was not for work. I mean like in a previous chapter after Kame left, he was keeping Yoko company. Well its his job and I wouldn't expect Jin to react otherwise but I just couldn't see how Jin would be interested in meeting Kame after he quit his job. But in this chapter, Jin waits for Kame, stays overnight with Kame even though the following day is his off day. And Kame calls Jin first to tell him he got his assassin role and Jin tolerates the cat. I can't wait to find out more...is the story really coming to an soon?? It doesn't feel like it is, keep writing(?) Hope to read the next chapter soon!~ :D

Wow. That was… intense all over. Don’t know where to start, to be honest. This is leaving me pretty breathless. Speechless even (ME, speechless! What’s wrong here?).

Anyway. In some way I love how this seems to be going and in some way I also fear it. Love Jin for feeling like a spy and Kame acting like an overcaring wife mommy boyfriend. Things between them are really going deeper and deeper now, mmh? I wonder if they are just too blind to see how much they mean to each other by now. Or if you just kept us in the dark about how they interpret the (re)actions of the other for now. Okay, there’s Kame’s POV at least. Finally his turtle-speed brain has realized that something in Jin’s behavior has changed.
At least when they had sex (which was an awesome scene btw. ;) )

And this actually makes me wonder if there’d be a chance Jin will ever change his attitude towards sex. Like if he didn’t have a job that was all about sex and if he’d have a turtle he really love and that loved him back. If (#massiveabuseofifshere) that would ever happen, would Jin be able to have some more sex with Kame? Would he maybe stop being so weird about it sometimes? I regret there was no sex under the shower Q___Q *pouts* #secretlyhasathingforsexundertheshower #thatsnotasecretanymorenow. Well, at least they FINALLY showered together! Twice, hehe x)

Another thing that’s quite regretful - sorry for the tiny little criticism here -: it feels a bit like Jin’s thoughts are… not very transparent every now and then. It’s pretty clear what Kame thinks actually. But somehow there is not much from Jin’s side and this feels a little weird. Like you still have to get used to that – weird. Okay, maybe I’m just too stupid to read between the lines properly or I’m a total philistine for not seeing that’s the way Jin is meant to be here. Just somehow he seems a bit too passive sometimes. But maybe I just feel that way because in other fics Jin mostly isn’t the passive guy that keeps most of his thoughts for himself. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to compare here. It’s just that each fic leaves effects and maybe even prejudices every now and then. And yours is different from everything I’ve read so far. But I like the different! I just don’t like passive characters that much. Jin’s way better now, though. ;) I found him a bit annoying in the beginning of this fic every now and then >___<. But good boy improved a lot :D. Any maybe the passive-ness comes with the job, after all?

Oh btw, did I praise you for writing seme Kame already? If not: YAY for seme Kame!! (That was lame, lol *throws some sparkling confetti*) Love it!

We know you've read on a bit (ha!) by now so we don't mind saying that this was a pretty important moment, where they really just are together, without any of the whore considerations, because they want to. And generally face facts but not dwell on them. And that's what he's doing about Kame. Fact: shit, I fell in love with a client.
