There was too much to be said about Jin to have a Kame POV. :p We'd been storing it up.

We had the 'accents discussion' at the start of posting, and decided we could really so not be doing with diacritical marks in html. Solo likes modified Hepburn, so that's what we went with except in cases where an alternative spelling was firmly established. (Solo also thinks Ohkura or Ohtomo looks stupid. *g*) (Jo thinks she is glad the committee stage for accents is over.)

Hm, no, we haven't used real flashback scenes... how interesting you should note that! *g*

Yes, Jin is telling Eda off but otherwise staying in the club. He said that to Kame that morning. Oh, sure he'll get out of the club, they'll kick him out when he's 40 and starting to get wrinkles at the very latest! ;)

What Kame said to the press was very...diplomatic and vague at the same time. But Kame stirred up the hornet's nest, so to speak. The club in an uproar because of the scandal. Does Tatsuya suspect Kame and Jin's relationship to be more than that of client/escort? Does Yamatani?
What about Midori? What did Kame tell her? Did he confess to her about Jin? *sigh* I know you won't answer my questions. So I guess I'll just have to wait for next week..*goes back to read again*

What? Cliffhangery? Kame just gave a press conference. That's pretty conclusive? But we're happy that the waiting for it had the desired effect.

And yes, he was kind of... vague, but for people who can read between the lines he really wasn't. In that business, if you don't deny you're gay you pretty much admit you are.

As for what Tatsuya suspects, well, Jin is going to come clean to Ootomo and then it won't be a question of suspecting anything, can you imagine how quickly all the other escorts will hear? Yamatani... you'll see. Midori... you'll see. Hey, we needed stuff to write into the next 8 chapters!

That must be so frustrating for Jin, to be holding so much inside and not being able to tell anybody. He's both so happy and yet so worried... He really does need someone to talk to.

So Jin briefly thought it could have been Yamapi too. I don't feel so bad for having a flash of doubt then.

"We were so rudely interrupted last time," Eda says regretfully as he drops himself into the empty armchair. But then he smiles at Jin. "Not likely to happen today, eh?" His eyes flick meaningfully towards the TV screen.

My original reaction: OMG. Jin's gonna kill him. He's going to kill him. Oh my gosh. He's Going to Kill Him.
For a minute there I was actually afraid hoping that Jin was going to punch him. I really hope he won't get in trouble for that. Man I can't stand that Eda guy. So happy Jin told him off. Kame's bravery inspired Jin to be brave too. Good for both of them.

This day still isn't over though is it? I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter.

Yes, Jin was almost as frantic as Kame going through the possibilities. And, well, he knew Tomo knew and didn't approve, and to Jin's knowledge there weren't actually many other possibilities, so that was a bit uncomfortable. Even though he decided quickly just not to believe Tomo would do such a thing. (Jo: HE WOULD NEVER MY SPECIAL HONEYBEAR. But, yeah.)

Kame's agent is putting up with a lot. And she does not suffer fools gladly. She is actually quite fun to write. *g*

LOL your characterisation of the clients! Very, very good. *G*

Ha ha, the TakkiTsuba myth. He'll be hearing about that. We love that you remembered that! :)

And your 'original reaction'. ♥♥♥♥ But Eda is so totally creepy. And no, Jin's not going to get into trouble, because he didn't punch him, just told him politely that he isn't available. That's actually allowed, if you don't do it too often. Just not recommended, since, well, that's another client gone and you have to make your money somehow.

Jo & Solo, I had the unavoidable, creeping conviction in reading this that you two will never disappoint me. This was beyond delicious, delectable. Utterley. When I finished I felt like I might feel after a warm heart massage. If I'd ever had one. I think it's confession time: maybe I love you guys. Oh dear.

For no logical reason but that i do, i love these lines below. particularly 'squeefull', to pinch your word:

"His door catches on a stray shoe. The t-shirt he slept in is on the table, and he thinks with a blush that he's still wearing the same boxers" (blushing jin - yes! so much felt, so much unsaid..)

"Makes his bed, thinks of making Kame's. Kame must have felt so alone, waiting, trapped in that ridiculous brain of his. Jin sighs, his chest tight, and for a moment he doesn't move at all, just stares at his tidy sofa. His boyfriend is an idiot." (jin, you are so not baka..)

"for a moment Kame looks small and naked, you want to wrap him up and take him away." (and oh, you sneaked a momma panda bear moment in there when i wasn't looking? beams.)

"His mind is cold and right now it's very careful." (nicely anticipatory.. second seriously new plot injection. deep approval again. jin, not remotely baka. jin = hero.)

..I rest my case, till next episode. couldn't get to this properly yesterday. there's kind of a covering comment over all of this happily hovering in my head (oh alliteration, how did that happen?) - but will save it for the end. sending you, as my kid says, "gros bisoux bien baveux".. Shame we couldn't see you doing backflips! But we are very happy that that passage worked, given that it was the first time Jin actually had some clear, unambiguous thoughts about where he stands with regard to Kame.

What, why baka? His reasoning is perfectly logical. Killing people you want to talk to is counterproductive. :p

We checked our logs JUST FOR YOU! and discovered that the plum candy fondling was Jo's fault. Punish her in any way you deem fit, she enjoys it.

I don't know HOW you do it but...This chapter had EVERYTHING I could have wanted from it...You must be able to read minds! O-o It had the humor I could only DARE to dream of considering we all knew how on edge and danger-level the stuff in this chapter was gonna be...But still the voodoo-dolls part had me crack a smile :) It had Jin's POV which as I wrote before I was anticipating so much...But even more - it had Jin actually thinking about all that's happened...This together with his actions had me pretty literally melting away at how in love he actually really is...I mean we all pretty much figured he was but...Seeing it live (or well I mean reading it of course...lol) was a billion times more touching...Well to me at least...I also LOVED and adored to pieces Kame in this chapter...Even though there were just glimpses of him...But I love how he has handled things so far...His speech to the press was flawless IMO...Every word down to the jokingly asked "Are you interested?"...That is definitly my FAVE part of his speech...I was also really happy about the whole Yamatani part...Once again enjoying the fact that Jin actually has a couple of more or less decent (and by this I mean nice, understanding and just plain HUMAN) clients, other than Kame...Gives hope for hs future in this job if he were to stick to it even for a little longer (which of course I don't expect him to all in hopes of Koki being the nice guy he is in RL as well and saving JinJin) LOL...Overall...To end this endless piece of a happy fangirly (of the fic) rant...THANK YOU thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much to the both of you for making yet another thursday full of heart warming moments and smiles for me! *goes off to re-read all the awesomeness that was this chapter* :)

P.S.: For several days already I'm slowly starting to realize how enourmously a lot I will miss this story when it's over.... :(:(:( I've grown so attached to it over this year that it's even creepy to an extent...Even more than a drama on TV or something...They're literally sort of like family to me by now...As weird as that may sound...If this were a drama I'd be dieing for an SP or something, w/e, anything...Because I for one would surely be interested in reading even just the normal every day things that will take place for Kame n Jin after all is settled and all the drama is over... *le sigh* How I wish...

This is a lovely comment, thank you. We're happy the chapter was so satisfactory for you! Humour is needed when things get tough, how do people survive if they don't at least make some fun of themselves... we totally believe in that. And yeah, Jin... see, we couldn't say much about his ~feelings~ until now because he wasn't letting himself wallow. But now he's letting it all out, so we can write about it. :)

Psst: that Kame line is our favourite, too. That's when he shows he's not just going to flail around trying to cover his ass. So satisfactory.

Yamatani is a really nice guy, for someone who exploits whores. We'll miss him when he's gone. And... yeah, it'll feel weird when the story is done. But the universe will still be there to play in, so who knows...

It's a good thing that all the clients were skittish about the news too, so Jin didn't have to do any work. Jin was just adorable here being all worried for Kame. A bit sad that he had no-one he could really talk about it with though. But yay for Tomo (who is always so understanding and just brilliant) - and Junno, Jae-joong, Tatsuya who all came to check with Jin. And Jin telling Eda off was brilliant - I hope he doesn't get in trouble with Ootomo for that (although I suppose he's not going to be happy anyway when he finds out about Kame).

And I totally agree with Jin's text to Kame about his press conference - he was brilliant.

Kame's day was pretty horrific. You'll hear a bit more about that in the next chapter. But hey, he coped, he came through, and he did what he planned to do. Good Turtle! :-)

hahhahaha Lulu's picture is so adorable!~ I like how you've picturized Jin in this Chapter. I was thinking this chapter might be from Kame's POV but this works out so much better as we get a glimpse of Jin fretting over Kame as a boyfriend and not as a client. It was quite interesting to see how Jin couldn't wait to share his news and worries to someone. Tomo was truly a great friend and though he is still uncomfortable with Kame, his efforts in trying to distract Jin was actually very thoughtful. And I thought Yamatani was the perfect person for a source of distraction at work. Jaejoong was rather empathetic while Junno was quite hilarious here though I am pretty sure Jin wasn't in the mood to have appreciated his pun. lol And while I thought Shota was quite an annoyance, I think Eda took the crown for being the most annoying. And this is the first time I am reading Jin turning down a client so forcefully, I wonder why he hadn't done that with Kame very much earlier in the story. Poor Jin he still has quite abit of waiting to do before he gets to see Kame face to face. Kame seemed to have faced the media quite bravely and I suspect he's going to be exhausted at the end of this very long day!~ I am quite excited to see what is going to happen from here on cause Jin is still in his current job and he hasn't made his company know about his new relationship yet. Glad the Jin POV works for you. Yeah, we thought it would be fun to show Kame being cool through Jin's eyes, and all Jin's puppyesque fretting.

Eda is just unpleasant through and through. And you're totally right, Jin should have turned Kame down like that, but back then he was still very new to the club and had little confidence, found it hard to keep clients anyway, and wasn't even sure management wouldn't kick him out again for being incompetent. He's become a lot more self-confident now, partly due to gaining experience and partly due to having Kame as a steady client (even before the boyfriend thing) - that would have made management very pleased with him for bringing in so much cash.

Kame will be very exhausted. :/ Poor Kame-chan.

The thought of Jin not having anybody to talk to about what has happened makes a bit sad D:
But anyway first of all: Nice to see the rest of the day from Jin’s point of view first!

I’m glad Tomo is there for Jin at least when Jin needs him. Although they don’t really talk about what has happened yet. But still Tomo’s there and not unaware of certain things which is good. Needs to get rid of some prejudices that guy, though. Because I really think Jin needs someone to talk to properly. Someone who’s not Kame, that is. Would be nice to see that Tomo finally acknowledges Kame and sees he has no bad intentions with Jin.

Also feel bad for Jin because he doesn’t have a break from everything. Not even in the club ><. Must be awful to have Kame “watching” him at work. But on the other hand Jin could at least keep track of what was happening. And he dealt well with it :)

I must say, I like Yamatani. He seems to be the most perfect company for Jin at that moment. Seems like someone who can calm him down without actually doing much and who knows what Jin needs and how to read the atmosphere (which reminds me that I wanted to tell you, how much I love your Junno puns x) ). Also it’s heartwarming how respectful he treats Jin. ^^
But I feel sorry for Kame for being so exposed at the club. Well, kind of. Guess it would be worse, if he’d ever go there again, though!

It’s nice that there’s some interaction between Tatsuya and Jin! Sweet that Tatsuya still cares for Kame. And somehow I hope for some more conversation between Tatsuya and Jin! Or Tatsuya and Kame even. Or the three of them! xD #flexible

Jin has really become one brave guy. I’m proud of him. xD But is was about time to get rid of Eda -.-“ I never liked that guy although he didn’t even appear THAT often actually. Just hope that won’t lead to any trouble for Jin. Luckily there is still Yamatani. He almost feels like a lifesaver to me right now xD

We had so much fun writing the KameDrama through Jin's eyes. :) As for Tomo, well, he tries? He has no reason to think highly of Kame, no reason to trust his motives. He's as supportive as he knows how to be.

Yamatani is an old sweetheart. Who exploits vulnerable young men and fucks them. *cough* He's great for Jin. (And totally a lifesaver in that scene!) And yay, our Junno is appreciated. We are very pleased. :)

Tatsuya and Kame were pretty good together, there was a good deal of mutual respect there. So yeah, Tatsuya cares for him, to some degree anyway. He's not pining or anything. #nothreesomes #sorry
