soooooooooo much new potential for drama and angst and fadsafdsadf there wasn't any scene with Jin and Kame together, but I'm even more excited now because you can just feel the epic slowly falling into place... all that agency backstory with Uchi and Takki&Tsubasa (it cracked me up really hard that you made them the whore fairytale myth XD) and MOAR awkward Ueda + Jin converation where Ueda wants to help and is all kind about it and Jin feels like he's in an alternate universe. And I wonder about Morioka, if people are really picking up on some sort of chemistry, or if the industry has made Kame paranoid. It broke my heart a little when he wondered why it could never be just about having dinner with someone.
... also, ewwww @ that one client! >.

Kame doesn't have an easy life, partly for reasons beyond his control. Partly. But for us it's good to know that that worked, even with heartbreak...

I feel that Jin's quote you selected for the link is very important. "Love gets people into this sort of mess, not out." Very curious about Jin's past. I can already slightly understand how one could think this.

Loved the Takki/Tsubasa story btw, i think that's the first time the 'L' word had even been mentioned. Not the last time though I'm sure XD.

I love how Jin has made Kame out to be a total psychopath in his head, and Tatsuya talks about him like he's one of the sweetest clients ever who needs a friend to listen to. Great scene there.

anyhow great chapter! can't wait for next update as always. Hopefully we'll get some more Kame/Jin interaction then? :] Great job!

Gosh, both their lives are so stressful and closed off and full of intrigue and being careful where to step. I'm surprised Kame and Jin are as sane as they are. I love this dynamic with Tatsuya knowing the "normal" Kame and Jin not knowing where to step because all he's experienced is alternate universe Kame with ties and blindfold. Can't wait for the next chapter, to see how Koki factors in to the whole. :)

Yes, you're right, they both have a lot to deal with and can't (or won't) really confide in anyone (for a number of reasons).

We're glad the contrast with Ueda worked so well. It is somewhat important that Jin is... in a unique position to appreciate certain Kame character traits.

I'm sooo tired this comment will be disappointingly short.
But I'm really LOVING Ueda here... *_*
Kame makes me want to hug him and rock him till everything is alright, I know everyone in this fic is a little (or a lot) broken, but Jin wears his issues on the outside a lot more (does that even make sense?), turns them into some kind of hostility-anxiety, exteriorizes them a little.... while I feel that Kame buries everything inside, tries to control/contain everything... and I'm a biased fan so I feel for him more @_@

Glad you're enjoying Ueda! Somebody should, what with Kame's schedule always interfering... He's important for the non-Jin perspective on Kame.

You're right...Jin is a bit more open about his issues (well, most of them) and he's certainly more honest with *himself* about them. Kame just tries to sit on everything and, yes, 'control and contain'. We are glad for the sympathy Kame is getting, despite his... less than wholesome actions. ;-)

i apologize that it's taken me THIS long to finally comment on this. ^^;
i think i've seriously started and restarted this fic several times now all thanks to my plans to spend some quality time with my computer and fics gets botched.

But now that i'm here, i'm glad i had the time to read this time around. I've only been able to read the first 6 chapters but this Fic is very well written and i'm loving every minute of it. i love how the plot progression and the drama unfolds slowly but not too slow that i'm bored out of mind wanting it to start. right from the beginning i was intrigued with Kame's character and love the way things are progressing in regards to his interactions with Jin.

Thank you so much for this and i do look forward to getting to ready more and comment on this awesome piece of writing. :)
